You know him and you love him (really???) well anyway, you love dirt and beer so come out and join a few of us to help celebrate with Johnny Dirt aka J-Dirt aka Johnny Crash who is turning the big fo-oh on Saturday and weather permitting we're planning a ride up B-Star to Beeks (and maybe on to sierra peak???) followed by a most excellent Chronic trip to get our Taco on!!!

Simple logistics for simple peeps like me
Date - Saturday, Jan 5th
Place - meet at b-star gate
Time - arive and be ready to roll at 8:30am

oh, yeah F the rain!!! although could be a mudfest (check back day or ride as j tells me plans subject to change based on how cr@p weather is)

Adam- thanx for posting this one.

It is JamisedOut's B-day also, so we should do 2 laps!
I really hope the weather holds out , otherwise we'll HAVE to join Justin and Allison.

BTW- I'm not 40--it's the 2nd anniversary of my 20th birthday!

hey sharky long time no speak. wish I knew it was your bday as well as perhaps we could have coordinated rides and have u and johnny have a beauty and the beast bday bash ride (u being the beauty of course). anyway happy bday and try to stay dry on saturday

Yup....if it rains half as much as they say.....Blackstar will be nearly unridable.

Nearly......as in the first 1/2 mile or so on the pavement will be good......from then on....... Just wait until you get to Hidden Valley....."IF" you get to Hidden Valley.

J- My wheels will continue to spin (side ways perhaps) but as long as the b-day boy says march on im there mashing through

aware of how sh!tty it can get as last pic fist post is of me (riding with J-dirt) on another b-star mudfest which just caked in rear tire clearance and made it a nightmare

Take Chapman east. Pass Jamboree, turns into Santiago Cyn Rd. Pass Irv Lake, over bridge and turn LEFT on Silverado Cyn Rd. Make very next LEFT onto Blackstar Cyn Rd. Park by Xmas tree lot or drive all the way down to the big yellow gate.

I'll be checkin' the weather (wet) and post up again in the AM. If the sky opens and doesn't stop....might need to re-think this one. I've done B'star in the mud before and it is messy!! But Kid A can clean my bike as a b-day present!
