I can't wait for the nine months of SoCal summer. You know, when weather changes don't make me instantly sick.

Hopefully I'll make the STR Weight Loss ride.

Update: Still hopped up on anti-sick drugs. Gonna have to make the next one.

I didn't join the Weight Loss Challenge, but that doesn't mean I don't need to lose weight. I'll be at this ride.

Good turnout and a nice pace.

My son, the Black Star to Beeks Rocket, hasn't been riding lately and he was sucking it up at first. Of course, he kicked my butt at the end.

It's funny watching your 'lil one enjoying the R rated banter before the ride. He's growing up way too fast

Took a few pics on the ride but left the camera at my friend's in Riverside Saturday night. I blame the keg of Sierra Nevada, and the Patron.

Great meeting new folks, and big props to DublXL for making the trek all the way from Lancaster. Sorry i never caught up with you on the second lap cuz of my flat.

The only question now is, where's the next ride? Post up if you have a good plan.

DublXL- Sorry I missed you. Unfortunately, I was pedaling around YOUR (and Crimson Nomad's) "local" trails!

Next time....

ODB- How 'bout Carbon Canyon/Chino Hills next time. Plenty of routes to push oneself. Northridge? Southridge? 10..20... 21 miles? Up to you! Aliso may also be new ground for some riders! Just a thought...

Next ride should be something like Blackstar to Beeks Place or something.. good long fat burning grind and speedy decent.. single speed and hard tail friendly.. and safe for beginners.. and very little pavement.

props to dubl_xl for bustin on some of the technical singletrack with us.. its clear he's got some skills.
