Red Hot Sloth

I'm looking for a tour guide for this ride. I am off through wed the 2nd. If anyone is interested in showing me (slow climber) around these trails, I would be most appreciative. New years morning is prolly the best time for me ride, but can make time on monday or wednesday. Thanks

I'd like to jump in on this too. I've always wanted to try out SCST. I just don't want to hold anyone up (I suck at climbing too). Climbing those hills down by Pendleton might give me flashbacks of Mount Mother F'er, B***ch Ridge, and Old SMokey . I heard there's a lot to explore there. I don't mind just exploring, but a LOT of times when I do that, I find out that we climbed all the steep hills and then descend all the easy climbs . Hopefully it won't be too early either. I work nights and waking up early is a rarity for me.

I can show you guys around there sometime, I am also a way slow climber so it seems like a good plan. I'll keep you posted on when I'm going there next. New years morning is a possibility, unless the predicted santa ana winds are really strong, I hate that weather.

I was planning on going out there monday by myself. if anyone wants to come let me know. I rode out there alone last weekend. It was pretty fun. I dont know my way around to well but I have a gps and a pretty good sense of direction. Im down for exploring it.

If anyone wants to meet there at the park tomorrow morning let me know.

I was going to do the night ride on the first but I am not allowed to spend money on a light so I am going to find a day ride instead. im gonna go tomorrow either way. ill ride it twice

This is a great idea especially for us newbies. I would love to go but cant make it til next weekend sat the 5th. If any one else wants to go I would love too.??????

I've got a ride posted up for tuesday, and I think a few of us might be hitting it up on the following saturday as well. Not sure I'd be able to hit it this wed, as the SO is allowing me to go on new yrs day.

I can make it Tuesday, where do you meet, at the carl's jr parking lot off cristinitos.You were the guys shooting the 105 and 155 over our head. I was 60 and 80mm mortars.Was it range 314 the big one?

I did a little FDC and FO also.

I posted coming from SD, just take that into consideration.
I can't recall what the nomenclature of the big range was, it's been 19 years since I was stationed at Pendleton.
