SDMBA Trail Work on Indian Creek Trail

Join us for trail work on Indian Creek Trail in the Laguna Recreation Area, Saturday the 5th. We will be brushing back the trail from the trail head up to the Waterfall, this part of the trail has not been worked on in years and is long over due for some attention.

Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the lower Noble Canyon trail head parking lot in Pine Valley, we will carpool to the work location.

Bring the usual: water, (warm clothing recommended) sturdy shoes, gloves, eye protection and a snack. All tools and training will be provided. We'll work till 1:00 p.m., pass out some well earned swag courtesy of Cal Coast Bicycles.

Please R.S.V.P., email Mark, so we have an idea how many tools will be required.

Directions: I-8 East to Pine Valley Exit, left on Old Hwy 80 to Pine Creek Road, right into trailhead parking lot. Forest Adventure Pass required.

Just in from the SDMBA trail News

Due to the upcoming winter storms (90% chance of rain) the trailwork this Saturday on Indian Creek is postponed until further notice. Thanks to all those who RSVP'd, we were going to have a good volunteer showing!

With the upcoming rain SDMBA urges all riders to stay off off the trails until they have dried, many of our favorite trails are turning into wide & rutted erosion control problems severly increasing the amount trail maintenace and has some Land Managers considering temporary closures.
