I will probably head out to Malibu this weekend if there isn't another event taking place (is there?).

If anyone wants to come I will most likely ride the backbone that runs through Malibu Creek State Park.
I know it's kind of out of the way for most of you here though.

Just filling in the time between now and the next spring fling race *

(If anyone by any chance wants to ride anywhere else in the SMs, I could make that too. I always can )

been meaning to take a drive up to the strawberry peak trail, before it gets too hot. are you familiar with it? do you know the conditions by any chance on the trail? it would have to be early, start riding about seven in the am though.let me know. i'll know by noon time friday if i can make it for sure.later

Isn't strawberry peak in the Angeles Forest

I was thinking about heading out to Corral Canyon Road and taking the Backbone trail . It snakes through all of Malibu, and so I was thinking of taking the section between corral canyon and latigo canyon roads. I've never been out there, just have lots of maps of the SMs that I've been looking at.

I live at the junction of PCH and sunset (well, amost there), so getting out there early shouldn't be a problem.

yeah youre right. haven't been out there in a couple of years. strawberry p. trail,fun trail thought!. backbone trail

never been there either. sounds fun thought. hope i can make it, i'll get a good idea by noon time or just after.

Hey I can't make it either. Bro has a lacrosse game.

I'll be going sunday instead, so if anyone can make it then, then I'll be there (whatever time you want )

I'll probably be in the area between Latigo and Corral Canyon Roads. That means the Bulldog and Backbone could be combined into one ride
