I noticed a few seat height/ stem lengths (on Sunday) that were less than perfect.

Don't believe the "usefulness" of proper set-up? It took us 4 months to convince COLEKO to raise his seat. The second he did, no more tired legs, no more general fatigue, no more knee pain, increased power on each pedal stroke, handling improved etc.

Still don't believe me? Show up to The Loop (on Thursday or Sunday) and see for yourself- Coleko is the rabbit we all try to chase!

Take Lee up on the offer.....

damn that must be hard.
I believe those two were on single speeds, which takes it from cool to gosh darned epic. I was there and still can't believe it.

edit: on the note of seat/stem adjustment, If mine is incorrect please will someone tell me. I'm not too proud to be told how to get up a hill faster and better.

I went back to my baseline photos and measurements, my saddle position was pretty darn close to how you adjusted it. It must have moved back in a crash or transit. I'm lucky my saddle rails aren't all bent out of shape. Also, there is a sticker on the seatpost that says to check the bolts "frequently". I'm guessing "frequently" means more than "never". Doh!

If at first you don't succeed, you're not 2Wheel_Lee.

I regularly have to raise my seat. I guess the lever on it doesn't get tight enough. My seat always falls down, I just always forget to adjust it back. Dino set me straight though. lol

Trust me when I tell you, most of us have had clamp/seat issues at one time or another. There is only ONE remedy to this problem: a HOPE seat collar. Don't take my word for it. Look around the parking lot- people run them for a reason!

It's true. You will not be happy until you have a Hope quick release seat collar. The secret sauce is the brass (or some soft, brass-looking metal) contact point for the lever. You can also do all of the adjustments with no tools and with your gloves on. The bummer is that it's a little on the heavy side and not cheap.
