A few of us rode SC on Monday and I went over that bridge...it's pretty freaky rolling over cause it's pretty high up.....one of those places where you want to look straight ahead so you don' faulter......Monday was the first time I have been able to ride SC since the bridges were built...it was AWESOME to go over it...I can't wait to ride there again Thursday morning!!!

Guess i'll be stuck with the loop again tomorrow...

I almost went off on the last 2 ft of this bridge but recovered..., barely!

No, it's goes across a huge gap. It's about 16 ft across or more. Not easy, cause there is a drop and turn right before you hit it. Most will walk it. I have at times.

So how long is this trail? Does it go down to Cotton's Point, Camp P. Marine Base (North) or San O?

As long as you would like. There are different variations. The one will probably do is about 11 miles, feels more like 20. Check this link.

Rode down there this morning and trails in great shape. Just a few slightly slippery-wet spots in the shade. No one else there. We had the place to ourselves.

You can connect down to Cottons if you wanted. For the most part the trails are just north of Christianitos Rd and east of San Mateo camp ground.

Unfortunately, I was going to play hooky from work but the boss (wife /Nancy) found out and put the brakes on this.... However, one of my riding buds, Mike grobler, is planning on showing up to ride.
