Assuming the weather will be ok, I'm gonna give Elfin another shot. Pace is very slow. I'm thinking so slow that I might even go back down spots to try again if I don't make them the first time.

Hey el_d00der and Nappyt let me know the next Saturday you guys are available and feel like driving south so I can show you a couple of local trails, nothing too crazy and at "normal people" pace.

That would be cool. I might be able to work something out for Jan 12th or 19th. I know PacMan would be interested to since last time we went my derailleur hanger broke and we carpooled.
Next weekend I'll be leaving for Hawaii.

Hawaii, lucky you, I know is not work related, I'm ok for the 12 but not the 19 since I work that weekend, let me know.

I'll probably be around all weekend for the next few months, so whenever...

Take 215 down to 15 and then...

I would like to do this ride, but the wifes spin class is at 8...I can't wait till mid January when doc gives her the go ahead to ride again.

I might be able to make it now that the time is pushed foward. I'll need to be done by 9:30 for work at 10 though, so once we get to the top I might head off early.

I just discovered this site, thanks to a link from Mtn. Bike Bill's great website. No time like the present for my first ride with y'all, right?

Great timing, too, 'cause I've been wanting to catch an elf for Christmas (although I suppose at this time of year we might not spot any, since they cross the border to the North Pole to find work...).

I have to say it was a major bummer not to find a forest or see any elf's last time I rode there.
