It's a little late notice, but if you have the time it's trailwork time!:

Share Mountain Bike Club will be hosting a trail work day in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park on Sunday December 16 starting at 8:30 am. Now that the winter rains have started, the time is right to begin maintaining our trails. We will be working on the trails near the new NIX nature center in Laguna Coast Wilderness Park.
Everyone is invited! No experience is needed - just your enthusiasm to help maintain our wilderness trails.
Please come prepared with long pants, long sleeve shirts recommended,sturdy boots/shoes, hat, and sunscreen. Tools, gloves, water, and lunch will be provided.

A friendly warning though, everytime I've done trail maintenance here I've come home with a few ticks. Be careful.

Why can't the county or Share get these notices out earlier?

I hear ya Craig. Today's trail work at Silverado was a good turnout considering the late notice.

This project was discussed at the last SHARE meeting. It just didn't get posted on STR until now. It's not a major project so it wasn't necessary to post it on all the message boards.

We will be working in Aliso/Wood next month.
