LPQ at 7:30 Tues night for ~1.5 hr ride.
12/10: Power to altitude, Rim recon sortie, Tunnel bombing mission, Cobbles strafing run, RTB. Park by the softball fields off Black Mountain Rd in the far back, if LPQ isn't "open", we'll avoid the Flak by parking at the end of Park Village Rd. |

It'd be way cool if you just didn't do this ride on that route, tonight. First, the park is still closed and muddy in several areas you have to ride through. Second, trail work was just done at Cobblestone on Saturday and it's not dried out yet: you will mash down the efforts of volunteers that busted ass to keep that trail in good shape this rainy season.
Tunnels are likely also still wet under the canopy. We're spoiled by killer weather 90% of the year and the sun looks great today, for sure. Let PQ rest a week after a rain and it's better for all of us. A lot better.

hey J I didnt see this post till now, we ride during the day at lunch Usually at one ish, today I screwed up and didnt bring my gear plus I called earlier and LPQ seems to be closed(recording). We will try again to do it on Thursday...keep in mind Im pretty much a noob and so are my coworkers...so we aren't exactly blazing trails...but we try, we start off going down Old Lopez Road up the fire roads to the waterfall and back...thats really all the time we have, its short but its riding...
![]() of course we obey all posted signs, so if its closed we turn and go down what the Roadies in my work like to call the wall do that climb and call it a day. |
