Hey PacMan, just a quick question on your ride schedule you have planned some rides have a pm ride will we be needing light's for those rides or is it just a late ride just before dark? Let me know just in case I have to go buy a light system.

Thank's John

No night rides. I have them as PM--for afternoon/after lunch/second ride of the day.

Sorry for the confusion.

I just called the shuttle service we use for Porcupine Rim to get their hours, so I could call back tomorrow and someone actually answered this late!

So---our shuttle is arranged for 8AM Friday morning. They will pick us up at the campground at 8AM SHARP!! Cost is $20 per person, cash only.

If I wanted to rent a full suspension bike for Porcupine Rim, could I get it the night before from one of the bike shops in town?

Yeah. Just to be on the safe side, I would arrange it ahead of time, but yeah.

Our shuttle arrives at 8AM so you would need to pick it up the night before. I don't know if that will count as a day though.

I updated the ride event to show the Pre-Trip Ride, Eat N' Greet on Sunday, April 13th. We're going to hit up Daley Ranch in Escondido at 1PM. We will then head to Stone Brewery for some good brew and good eats.

Just think--6 weeks from today, we will be heading out!!

Make sure you order drinks from your table. I don't think I ever had to deal with a more indifferent bartender than the one in that place.

Glad you can make it. From the PM's I sent out, Dawg2 was the only one who couldn't make it. This is the best I could do to accommodate everyone.

Hey PacMan,
have some question's, where is Daley's ranch in Escondido? I am trying to work something out with the wife's trip and my work scheldule so I can make this meeting. I live in the Chino Hills area so I am trying to figure drive time and ride time plus drive time back home in order to get some sleep before work. I guess I could just do the ride so I can meet everyone and not go eat. Any time lines would help.

thanks John

My wife if due with our baby girl on April 10th. I couldn't stand to be away for that long. So I am envious of you all, but thrilled about why I am staying home! Just take a ton of pics for me!!

Ah. Congrats on the new arrival.

I can see why you wouldn't want to be gone. I guess that's an acceptable excuse.

Here's a link from MountainBike Bill's site: http://www.mountainbikebill.com/DaleyRanch.htm

I really hope you can make it. I'm sorry again. This was the best I could do to accommodate the most people.

I'm going to be in the Fruita area around this time with a friend. We decided to go to our first bike festival and chose Fruita. We may go to Moab to ride for a day or two as well. Look for the blue Toyota FJ with Cali plates and a Toyota of Orange license plate frame.
