Note: This ride is for December 7, 2008. Mark and I were talking and thought it would be funny to make the first Sunday in December "Sladnas Day", to remember the ride held last Sunday, 12/2 and to celebrate the way this awesome community came together to help a member of the STR family. Also, it's a real good excuse for a ride and a party. I am posting it now so I don't forget, so the "ball could be set rolling" so to speak. I will update it with more info when the date get's closer.

It's the first Sunday in December, time to celebrate Sladnas Day with a ride at Daley Ranch.

If you recall, Mark/Sladnas lost his bike in the SD wildfires in October '07 and STR pitched in and bought him a new bike. He was presented with the bike on a ride at Daley Ranch and over 60 riders made the trip to be there for the ride and the post-ride BBQ. Sladnas Firestorm/SD Newbie Ride

This seems like a pretty good excuse for a ride and BBQ, so here you go.

My social calendar is pretty full right now, but I think I can squeeze this in.... damn right I will!

I think we will need the whole 12 months to decide how many groups to have and who will lead them...

Oh man, this sounds fun. I'll be out of the country (extradited for crimes I haven't yet committed in a country yet to be named--probably mtn bike related somehow). Have fun for me!!
