FooFighter and I are planning to do a short run at Aliso after work. I plan to get there around 4:15-4:20ish and park along Canyon Vistas. Look for a Silver Honda Accord. Probably will go up Cholla, down Lynx, and out before it gets dark and before the weekend rain!!

last night when i rode, the sun was setting by the time i got to TOTW and it was a mad dash back so an abbreviated ride would be good. i hate descend at dusk because it's difficult for me to gauge things

I highly agree. The last time I did this ride after work I road down Rock-It, back towards the canyon single tracks and back out. Pretty dark. Shorter ride would be Cholla and down Lynx.

Pretty much. I usually make it out by 5pm and have never encountered a problem. I "think" MILF, up Cholla (I'm going to hurt), and down Lynx (will hurt if I crash!), and out is the quickest route. If there is a quicker route, I'm down for that as well.

The way ----->I<----- ride Cholla and hike a bike, that could potentially be a suffering ride for me.

Man, taking awhile to get my legs/cardio back.

I was so fed up with my work that I took the day off yesterday and got my Aliso (405 Frwy) ride in yesterday. Its so nice to be riding when everybosy was at work.

I just got back from lunch and it wasn't raining in the Newport area. Either way, I'm going to drive over there right at 4pm. If it's raining everyone should bail out and I'll schedule another one next week.
