I did not see this thread, but I was out there and met a friend @ Canyon Vista (thanks to the directions by a fellow member ).
As I was leaving tonight, a few riders stated that someone crashed pretty bad on the trail somewhere. Anyone have any details regarding the incident?

that was me bert...i still dont know, maybe Gregg (OMR) can call the rangers since he's a trail volunteer to see if they got any calls. were you driving the FX? and your buddy driving the subie?

The ride ended early due to darkness and rain. Up Cholla, to the water tower, back down Cholla.

Station: What happened dude? We waited by Milf until about 4:25pm. I'll ride with you regardless on the next one.

In regards to the accident I did submit a 911 call. Both the police and the fire department did not receive any phone calls about anyone getting hurt in Aliso Woods. The fire department did say they would send someone out there to verify. The joggers Foo, House, and I ran into mentioned the rider was either coming down Cholla or Lynx, broke a finger and his leg. It wasn't Cholla since we rode up and down that same trail. Other trail riders we ran into didn't see anything as well. Regardless, I don't like to have that on my mind and I really hope the guy is ok. I figure the fire department would obviously have better equipment to find the guy. If anyone knows anything please call 911 to report or post!

I was the one with the FX
The irony of the whole thing was when you asked about the rider, I said most likely it would be posted on either MTBR OR STR. I guess you can say I am somewhat like Nostradamus.
