PUGZIE- I don't think you have ever been to a sale have you?

I had to shoulder a 10 year old kid into a storage container in order to get my frame!!!

It's crazy I tell ya'. Every Man, Woman and Child for themselves!

That's cool, I hope you get your frame. You should wear the dress from the Halloween ride, I'm sure you could get whatever you need with that baby on.

if they have a Maxxis Ignitor will you pick it up for me?

Pugzie,

If the rain doesn't let us ride on the trial. Should we do a road ride? Or maybe meet at the gym? I hate the gym! But it's better than nothing.

Just wondering.

  • Pain Freak - Guys, I'd cancel this one. We don't need any trouble on the Loop.
Trouble from who, are you going to be hiding in the bushes?

The trail is probably really muddy. You should give it a chance to dry out. Tires create ruts and there are already plenty of those. Ride a paved bike path. It's still riding and your bike would get muddy.

How about a paved ride along the Santa Ana river bicycle path near Yorba Park?

It's kind of boring but it's flat and paved and you can rack up a lot of mileage. If you wanted to, you could do a road ride from Corona to Huntington with virtually zero motorized traffic to contend with. Just the occasional bum/drug addict harassing passers by.

Pugz,

What are we doing? The Santa Ana River trail ride sounds good to me. Let me know.

Please consider another ride for Sunday (on the road - or SART). I live close to the loop and it's been raining off and on all night. When I went to the store this afternoon (Ralph's by the Loop) I saw quite a few riders returning and more cars than I woud have expected in the parking lot. We have had so many months of riding without rain. I wish people would give the trails a break and find something else to do on the days where rain / mud prevents us from riding. We all love to ride, but we really need to think about the damage caused to the trails when they are wet. I did a night ride last Wednesday and coud not help but notice the deep tire marks in many parts of the trail. I know it's hard not to do something we love much and look forward to all week, but please try to give the trails a break. We are pretty lucky to be able to ride as much as we do.

I'm taking my kids to the loop tomorrow just to let them play on the mud. Their mom will be mad but boys play in the mud. No bikes though, just good clean ( I mean dirty) playin in mud.

I agree that we should let the trail dry, as such I am going to cancel the ride and do some stuff with the wife.
