Great riding with you all today. To all the regulars--it was awesome, as per the usual. For all the new guys (at least to me) it was a pleasure riding with you. Let's all make sure this isn't the last time, eh?

Went to NappyT's casa afterwards to download the helmet cam video. As for the helmet cam--I have good news and bad news. The good news is that the image quality is unreal. It was not pixelated at all and the contrast was spot on. It handled light changes (sunlight to shade and back) very well.

The bad news is that I got some good, quality videos of the ground right in front of me. The angle was way too low. I deleted them right away because you couldn't see anything. Then Nappy mentioned I should've saved at least one of them to post so you all could see the quality.

I will take more later this week and post them up. If anyone was/is thinking about getting one--DO IT!! The quality is crazy good for a $170 camera. Heck, the quality is crazy good period, no matter the cost.

Thank you, PacMan, for organizing this ride. It was my first Daley Ranch ride, and I had a great time. Also, thanks to OffRoadie for helping me navigate the trails.

It was a beautiful day and a nice ride with a great group of guys.

It was cool to meet some new faces this weekend (Elfin/Daley). I had a great time at Daley today. I hope I get the chance to ride with you all again sometime. Until then happy holiday's and have a happy new year!

What a fun ride with the SD peeps. I have to apologize to offroadie for forgetting your name...I'm a lame, self-centered, knucklehead, sorry my friend. I shouln't have smoked all those banana peels when I was a youngster. For that I believe I have permanant long term memory loss. For those of you I didn't meet at the Sladnas ride, or I did and can't remember it, it was great to meet and ride with you. To you clydes that can climb like monkeys on crack...nice work, I got some learning to do.
I look forward to riding with the SD crew again, and thanks to all for a great time yesterday.

I must have missed you. I usually will ride around the parking lot and ask people if they are with STR or just want to join our ride. I had one guy waiting for someone that said he might catch up. I must have missed your group. If you see guys like PacMan with the STR jersey on its because they want you to come over and say hi. Don't be a stranger its all good...

Reminds me of the time I took my wife (then Girlfriend) back east to visit with family for a reunion. We have a huge family and it's about 95% back east. I hadn't been back there in 12 years, and hadn't seen some of the relatives for 20 years. Everytime I needed to introduce her to someone that I couldn't remember their name, I would just say, "this is my girlfriend Sue", then walk away so they could fill in the rest themselves.
I did it a lot, good thing the wifey is laid back.

We don't need no steenking pictures!
PacMan had a helmet cam, but there were technical difficulties. My cam is jacked, don't know about anyone else though.
