Man I was all set to get out there this morning. I had started to get the kit already to roll and warned the babysitter that she'd be getting the youngin's early since I haven't been out all week and BAM my wife drops a bomb and tells me that the cable guy is supposed to be at the house between 9 and Noon!!!!!! WTF! I can't get really mad at the wife I hadn't had a chance to tell her my plans so she thought I'd just be off and sittin' around. So here I sit waiting for the cable guy!!! Hope you all had fun. Maybe next time.

Jman,
I do a lunch ride most days Monday thru Friday with Mr. Hobbs and the invitation is always out there for anyone to join us. Our rides are only about an hour, but a couple of rides with us and you will get some insight to the trail system that you could only get from a hand full of riders. Oh yah, it was awesome out there today! Smitty |

BJammin-I'm planning on riding in San Clemente tomorrow. we usually meet at 9, would that work for ya, or do you need to meet a little earlier, like 8:30, to make sure you get done on time? let me know, but i probably won't post back till after work (believe it or not, no internet at work)
Rob.... you in? has anyone ridden there yesterday? are the trails dry enough? When we rode last wed, 5 days after the rain, it was just barely dry enough, that clay soil doesn't dry fast. But.. we got less rain this past weekend than the previous, it should be alright. |

Road lightly on Monday to survey the trail conditions and I would say by Wednesday the trails will be good to go but will still have some slick spots to keep you on your toes.
This Wednesday will be just like the last for the lunch blitz crew, we will be at the dog park around 11:35ish. That is if we don’t take advantage of the hero grip and drop-in from Black Death. Smitty, |

I'll be leaving Wildomar around 7 to make sure I get there on time (next time I might go later but i really don't wanna be late my first time (besides I HATE being late for anything!!!!). Lookin' forward to meeting everyone.

I just got back. The trails are a bit soft but good. The trails on the east facing slopes seem to be the softest (less sun exposure). A few slippery spots out there as well but nothing that will damage the trails. Have fun.

Sorry Rob and Crew, I need to stay local (SD) tomorrow. I need to pick up my father-in-law at 12:30 and bring him to see the condo we're buying. We are scheduled to have it inspected at 1:30 so it looks like I'll be riding the new singletrack they just put in at Daley ranch in the am. Good news though, the condo I'm buying is within riding distance of Elfin forest, a small but challenging rugged park to ride in(800ft of climbing in the very first mile-hows that for a warm-up). Once I'm settled in, you guys should come down for some riding/beerdrinking on me.
Ben

I'd just like to take a minute and thank everyone for showing me around this morning. I am horrible with names and was a bit confused as to who was who but I have to say thanks. It was great to meet everyone and start to put faces with names. The gentleman who sort of led the ride was great, nice and very knowledgable and I feel horrible for not remembering his name. I only remember one name right now for some reason. tsk tsk on me.
It was a great time on some really nice trails. Everything was a bit muddy but not horribly so. There is some really sweet swoopy single track that I had a blast on. I'll be back for sure and now that I have an idea of what to expect it can only get better. Thanks again for a great ride guys. Have a great week. ![]()
