Default Trails in Idyllwild?

I'm heading out to Idyllwild in December. What trail(s) would you recommend?

Thanks in advance...

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hurkey Creek is about 15 min outside of Idyllwild. Alvin meadows, which is down past the art school as you enter the town. Lastly the Ernie Maxwell trail, which runs out of Humber park (great night ride). Post your rides here and maybe I can make it up there and ride with you...

Hey!! Let me know when you are going... If you would like company, I can show you plenty of trails. My boyfriend lives in Hemet. works in Idy, and I have ridden many trails there. If it's not too dang cold, and I am in town, I can join you, otherwise. email me and I will tell you some routes to take.

Thanks a bunch. I'll definitely post the dates as soon as I get them. I checked it out on the web and they have quite a few trails out there.

For sure, company is good especially when they know where to go... if you're not around, I'll shoot you an email.

Thanks,

Joe

I'll be working in the area now, please post up the rides. I've rode everything mentioned here, but I still get lost, so I ride with others that don't get lost (much).

I'll be up there on the weekend of the 8/9th. What's the recommended bike... I have a 5" & 6" bike... If there's alot of climbing I'll bring my 5.5.

Thanks,

joe

Your 5.5 will be more than enough...
