Dunno about the rain. . . that one spot that's starting to sink has me worried.

Time to bring this thread back to life.

Lets get the roll call going. Secondly, can we agree upon a time that isn't too insanely early, perhaps 9:00 am at the lot?

ok well does anyone have an address or GOOD directions how to get there from brea/fullerton area?? and how long (timewise) will the ride be, and how long will it take to get there???

Take Silverado canyon until you hit the big gate across the road. I rode Up Maple to Modjeska peak in 2hours 35 minutes up and back, just to give you a time line. I'm sure others can do it faster, but I would say I ride an average pace.

I'm coming from Fullerton as well, so you're welcome to follow. Could ride with me for that matter.

Took just over 3.5 hrs. to do the MS-Motorway loop yesterday, with a few stops for pics/ rest. Average pace, I supppose.

From CSUF area it's about 35-40 mins. to the trailhead (on a Saturday).

Saturday has a 50% chance of showers for the city of orange. I dont think we should do Maple Springs because of that little spot that is about to slide.

I've never done blackstar/motorway. How's that?

I'll head there if there's a little drizzle but not full blown rain. (I learned my lesson)

I may be able to do that ride. i like to meet some of you,socal finests. so is going to be maple springs or black star? and if someone is driving out of long beach-lakewood area maybe we can carpool. if you like? so would someone please post the final destination and time please by3 or 4:00 pm.so i can plan for it. thats about the time i'll be able to get back to the site. now is time to go to work.Yahoo! later.

Im still up in the air if im riding saturday or sunday. If I roll saturday, maybe we can carpool. I live in Belmont Shore off of 2nd street.
