I think a lot of people are going to come this Saturday, so let's just keep it this Saturday at Maple Springs at 10am -- and we'll ride again next week.

Adam, how far away from Maple Springs do you live? I'm pretty sure I can pick you up, and we can go to the Path after and look at Konas.

Saturday the 19th might not be good for me, I have to work at 10:30. Dang REI again!!! but I love the deals Ill see if I can swap my schedule with another employee. If not you guys have a good ride!

I think you should be ok. The climb isnt steep at all, but it's just long and gradual. You can always take little breathers or even just turn back and go back down the fireroad if it's too much. It did take a good bit outta me though, but that's probly cause I was 1) trying to use a higher gear then usual 2) trying to keep up with Adam.

Sweet, I'll be there for sure! So if I'm coming from Chapman heading West on Santiago Canyon, I make a left on Silverado Canyon.....and then where??? Depending on how strenuous the climb to main divide is, I may be up for going to the peak. I'll bring my hardtail to give me half a chance

Once you're on Silverado Canyon, just take it all the way to the end and park at the circle area near the kiosk.

I'll be there by 8:15 at the latest.

wOw thats a bummer about maple springs closing...

I had some minor surgery so I'll probably still be too sore to ride with you guys this weekend. But the following weekend of the 19th and 20th im defintly riding!

And I've ridden Maple and all the trails around hundreds of times...
