We are riding Sycamore on Thanksgiving Day. Starting at the Santee side, meet at 8:00 am at the dirt parking lot next to the high school.
Should be and easy pace, beginner friendly all the way up to Martha's Grove and back.

Older red cherokee and '06 red stumpy.

[SIZE=3]Directions: [/SIZE][SIZE=2]From Highway 52 get off at Mast Blvd. Go north for about 3/4 of a mile and park at the dirt parking lot after the high school on the right side of the road.[/SIZE]

Was planning on doing the canyon on Fri or Sat AM on my own for the first time. I would join if you could reschedule

I will be out of town after thursday, is hard to get lost at Sycamore and there is usually a lot of riders on weekends so you shouldn't have any problem finding your way around. Look it up at mountainbikebill.com

If I can stumble out of bed, then sure. 8 is early for a holiday.... for me anyway.

I know is kind of early but we want to be done early also to spend the rest of the day with the family, we are meeting at 8:00 but we'll probably start pedaling @8:20am, hope you can make it.

Thanks guys for coming, we had a great ride, sorry for the late start and the waiting around, we had more people than expected but it was all fun. Is nice to put faces to the STR names and finding out that how nice and down to heart you all are.

Thanks for the ride. I hadn't been back there in years. Nice meeting everyone. I'll have to hit you guys up for a ride next time I'm down there. Also thanks to Dirtcrab for showing me some new stuff and to ChipsandSalsa for hanging with our 'B' group.

Maybe 12 or so, we had to split since it was a "beginner friendly" ride but I think we all had fun.

Bajamtnbkr,

Thank you for putting this ride together. Additional thanks to Endo Verendo for sorting-out my bike's drivetrain problem. I enjoyed riding the new (to me) trails Dirtcrab showed us. I really need to work on switchbacks.

I think everybody who owns a MTB in San Diego went to Sycamore on Thanksgiving day, the trail was packed.

It was well worth it, I saw a lady with the smallest tank top & biggest fake breast out there riding

& couldn't help myself but to tell her "Gobble, Gobble.. Happy Thanksgiving" I was impressed,it made me hungry for turkey.
