Arrow SART ride Friday 11-23

Rawhead and I were thinking about heading up to do SART on Friday to burn off the Thanksgiving turkey.

Only problem we see, is neither of us have ever been there so we will be riding around the post office in circles until we find someone to follow.

Anyone up for a SART ride on Friday? And anyone that has been there feel like leading the charge?

Question for the SART experienced riders... is SART a trail that you would recommend a newbie to have a guide??

The first times I rode it I was alone, depends how well you can follow a Topo Map.

Depends how far you're planning on going.

There's definitely nothing technically demanding there, but there is some exposure and lots of easy ways to get lost.

Post the ride and see if someone who knows the area will show you around. I just rode it for the first time (yea I know) on Sunday and I will be back soon. Not Friday though.

As Bski said, I up for SART... but I've never been. All we need is someone who knows the trails in the area to help guide us. Would love to do this trail will a group.

How many miles/ft climbing/time riding are you guys wanting to do. There are alot of different variations out there also. I may be up for a ride/guide but it's a long way from my house so I wouldn't want to go for a short(2hr) ride.

A couple of people and myself are doing the SART on Sat morning to burn off some of that Turkey day fat. Will be doing it at 7:00am. We planned on doing the shuttle approach...roughly 25-30 miles. You are welcome to join us.

Did SART last month for the first time with a friend of mine. We kind of did the same thing, just rode around until we figured out where to go behind the post office. Fun ride even though we had little idea where we were going. I'd love to go again but not sure I have anyone to watch the kids.
