Wow, looks like they haven't improved practice length at all...all the working-class experts who can't get Thursday off from work will have a grand total of 4.5 hours of practice. And the course will be loaded with people. Makes me not want to pay so much $$ to race when that's all the practice we get.

They have changed the start finish area, the last couple of years.
At the start, it weaves around a bit where the staging is currently done, then down the dirt straight like normal, but up the first steep climb, insted of riding past the 4x whoops, up the next climb. Lacey heading around for her second lap last year. The Sport Womens class should be a little larger than the normal SRC races, and more than likely broken up into more age groups. Last year Lacey was able to race Sport Womens 18 & Under, insted of 34 & Under. The National Races are cool. I think you & Steph should do it just for the experience. ![]() ![]() ![]() You'll both do REALLY WELL! ![]()

Are you referring to Fontana specifically, or So Cal in general? There are 4 Calif. Gold State Series races (2 at Fontana/2 Woodward West). They are all on the STR Calendar.
Unfortunaely, none are during the Summer (too hot).Mar 29, 30 Fontana (this race only DH is one run) April, 26, 27 Woodward West (no XC) May, 31 June 1 Fontana Sept 13, 14 Woodward West Finals (no XC)
