No way I can race them but I might drive out after work (I get out at 2) to watch the Pro 4x and see if I can't get a few pointers...also take a shot at some pictures.

The Sport Womens class should be a little larger than the normal SRC races, and more than likely broken up into more age groups. Last year Lacey was able to race Sport Womens 18 & Under, insted of 34 & Under.
The National Races are cool. I think you & Steph should do it just for the experience.
You'll both do REALLY WELL!

Are you serious? Has this been an option this entire time?????? Does somebody mean to tell me the 4X course could have been open from start to near finish for practice?

Man that's kind of a brutal climb, it hurts when I walk it...Bob you be patient and wait for your practice so the XC peeps can go around the less brutal side!

Well....alright. I'll wait, but only because I've got XC buds and I hate to see them in lycra any longer than I need to. And if the current route gets them out of the area a bit quicker-then I'll wait. <---I'm still not sure what these two are supposed to mean, but I'm going to use them unapologetically.

Looks like a purty mean climb anway!

I am assuming that practice for it will be the same as practice for the NMBS race. I will shoot Donny an email and see what he says.

and also if it is the same course as Nats or a difft course...that could drastically affect how/if we need to prac.

what I don't understand is how they are going to fit in "Cal State" practice and separate that effectively from the DH practice for Nats.??

I am going to guess, for logistic's sake that it will be the same course and you'll just do a separate run after men's DH on Sunday. Like around 2 pm it'll start?

Sorry in the response view there's no event info. Is NORBA two runs? How do they make time for that? Do you do your first run, then immediately go back up??

Also, for Cal State Series do you have to run all 4, or just 3?

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one confused by this. I return from a business trip on Saturday, and if I'm not too dead, I'd like to do a race on Sunday, but I don't see how it's possible yet.

No, NMBS is only one run.

I know they are trying to do the same weekend, as you said, for logistics sake, but dang, we have to hang around all day Sunday if we want to do CalState??

Here is Donny's reply:

Yes if you are doing the cal-State you will race on Sunday after the pros. As far as two entry's go I was trying to keep from people having to join NORBA to race. As for the race course they well be the same for each event.

I saw that for results as well. Very odd. You have to be an expert to race short track period, or just at Fontana I wonder?
