On a 26"? That's definitely not too high, IMO. But I like easy gearing on SS's There is 1100ft of climbing in 7~ miles. The last, I'd say, 2 miles of the course is fairly flat, but there are a few hills thrown in.

Yep, I'm on a 26er. Thanks for the course info. It's definitely going to be a tough race for me, but it sounds like a blast.

I'm waiting to hear back from a friend about the race, but I'd say I'm 90% in!

It's supposed to rain this weekend, and all week, so I'm assuming that turnout will be somewhat low again. Especially if it continues to be 40-60% rain on Saturday!

Hope that the stitches come out and all is well, Nancy!

I'm sure you'll mix it up nicely with the Laura's

I'm in! Now, can I actually ride 14 miles on my SS? That, my friends, is the question

It's not the 14 miles that is difficult... it's the race pace

Since it's looking like I won't have my Black Market by this weekend, I don't know what I'm going to do. My two main choices are to assemble all my parts onto the Azonic that I'm trying to sell, or rebuild my Intense 5.5 for 4X use. Tough call. Either way, I'll use it as my excuse for Ricky or Bob winning.

You couldn't even pass for 21! So passing for 35-44 may be a bit difficult.
