Was the race # list helpful enough that you'd like one here or do you want to wing it? Should be great times as usual Fontucky is unpredictable makes for interesting times. Always fun either way. Sounds like we'll have a few more STR riders on the 4X course this time around.

This time it is going to hail with 60 mph wind.
Cool we can ride on ice and get blown all around.

4X Rain Tip of the Day: Set your gear at the start gate. Bring lots of dry towels that you don't mind getting dirty.
In between the motos, all three seconds of it, drape a towel over your bars to act as both a rain cover and to use it to dry off your grips, gloves, shifters, (carefully and use a few squirts from a water bottle to get the grit off) goggles, and brake handles.

Cheers!

I recieved a message back from Southridge that you must have 3 working gears for 4X . I'll bring a few rags if raining maybe I can get them to you all on your walk back up to dry grips and such then I'll pick them up at the end just toss aside? Just an idea.

You'd be the hero of the day if you did that, Sharky!

Another 4X Rain Tip of the Day: If you know the day is going to bring heavy rain, throw some extra lub on the chain, then wipe it down with a clean shop towel. Keep that shop towel with you in your gear bag and use it between motos to clean the surface grit from your chain and drive train. This will help to prevent missed shifts, chain skip, and/or damage to your drive train.

If I recall correctly, UCI changed the rule requiring three gears to allow singlespeeds in 4X last year or so.
http://www.leelikesbikes.com/racing-...-one-gear.html

But Donny doesn't enforce the rules unless there is a protest. At the last 4X event, there were at least a couple singlespeeds and at least one bike without a front brake (a violation of UCI rules).

Does Donny have an SRC rulebook available?

I've only raced 4X once, but I did so in the Sport class.

The classes are based on the entries. It appears that they'll try to have beginner, sport, expert, and pro/semi pro. They also had a women's and women's expert classes. They'll also try try to have age divisions as well...if applicable, such as a juniors class. For our class (Bob was also in the same class), we had only four entries, and the age seemed varied. I don't know how old the other two guys were, but I think they were in their 20s. Bob is 33, and I'm approaching the hill at 39.
