Anyone up for a slow ride 11-16-2007?

I have the day off tomorrow and really want/need to get back into riding. I can meet anyone that wants to ride with a slow person. The only catch is that I can only ride between 1:00 and dusk. I do have a set of bike lights but they aren't the greatest.

I usually ride the Loop but I'm willing to meet at a different place.

What time Sunday? If it's early enough I am up for Sunday as well.

Anytime in the A.M. is good for me. I have to be back at the parking lot by 2.

Unless something blows up at work, I'm going to hit the trail between 1pm and 130pm tomorrow for a few hours. I'm thinking about the Merrill/Sunset/El Prieto loop or a training ride to the top of Brown Mtn ending with El Prieto. Start at JPL parking lot at the top of Windsor.

I'll post to confirm tomorrow morning as soon as I get a fix on the work situation. If that sounds interesting, let me know.

I've never ridden there; is there lots of climbing involved? I've been off the bike for some time and when I say I'm slow I mean sloooooooow. :-(

No problem. Most everything out this way involves a lot of climbing and this ride is typical. A ride to the top of Brown takes me an hour and fifteen minutes, all fireroad climbing.

Where is the trail located? I live in L.A near the area where the 105 and 110 freeways intersect.
