hmmm, that sounds like fun. If the boss is cool with it, I'm in.

Submitting request for time off now.

Uh... 42 miles... nope, waaaaaaaaaay more than I can chew being new to the game. I got the time, I just don't have the skill or the will to pull that off yet.

Kanga, will you be getting video of this?

Lower San Juan trailhead parking. Maybe 7:30 or 8 to start the ride? Don't get me wrong, I'd love to sleep in, but don't want to get caught out after dark either.

So I have a new goal now. Be able to ride for 42 miles in one ride!!!! I'm doing a solid 16 to 18 miles a ride now so I'm almost half way there. Maybe next time you guys get a midweek day off.

What kind of pace are you looking at? Are you going to be hammering, or more of a survival pace.

Gotta be able to finish the ride, but also need to finish before dark

I think we'll just climb San Juan, climb up to Blue Jay. Descend Trabuco, then hike back up West Horse Thief. Descend San Juan.

I don't know why I want to torture myself, but I think I may give it a shot.

Things are looking good for Wednesday. However, I haven't ridden from the lower SJT, so will need directions. I have to figure how long the drive from Pasadena will be. Thanks!

That's correct! 12/5. I was shocked myself it was already time

We're just gonna push up WHT. So, there isn't *that* much climbing after descending Trabuco

Cool!

Yeah, I'm not so much concerned about the actual route.
I'm more concerned with how much sleep I won't get that afternoon, after the ride.

I'll plan on riding up to Trabuco with you guy's and see how I feel from there.

Wish I could join ya, but the knees are hurting a bit and like Maxwell, I work Tues night and work again Wed night. Once you guys make it back to the top of Trabuco from WHT, there's always Los Pinos. (Darin)
