Nope. Head up and practice during your assigned time.

Locally? Ride wherever you normally would!

Here is some info I found .

With the invention of digital video cameras you would think that you would see a lot more video clips and pictures of the event.

I will post in here any other video or cool pictures I find below.

They have a big meadow for camping in. Last year they had free firewood. There was also a spaghetti dinner and a band. And some Firestone Ale.

Default Camping Info (Different from last year)

CAMPING

Upon arrival at the venue you will pay your camping fees at the Parking/Camping Tent upon entering the SGDC, this will be the first thing you encounter on the property. You will no longer need to check in with the Registration Staff, even if you pre-paid when you pre-entered the race. Your camping fee is $10 PER NIGHT PER VEHICLE. Fires are ok provided that you keep them in a self-contained fire pit, like an elevated BBQ pit, and you must have a fire extinguisher in your possession. We’ll even supply you with free firewood! Camping is located in a new place that is more isolated from the wind than last year. Many of the race courses go right past the area.

We will have a list of the pre-registered campers at the parking/camping tent. To RSVP please email Mike @ mike@ridesb.com. Tent's, RV's, Trailers, or just sleeping bags under the stars, ALL ARE WELCOME.

Keep in mind that the race info says there is no same day registration, so if you drive up the morning of the race, be sure to pre-reg online.

(edit, cross out did not show on the cut and paste--the "fires are okay" portion is crossed out--looks like they are NOT okay now)

Well once again, Mike Hecker has managed to "shake things up" right before a race. All Sport classes have been reduced to one lap. Our start time is 8am. We would've been off the course before the high point of the temps. If he's that concerned, why not put two more water stations on the course?
Pretty pathetic for a National race.
