I'm probably going to get fried for this
, but my Bro just got back from his mission and He and I are heading out for a session about 10am on Saturday. Any boarder knows that there is definitely strength in numbers in this area of NPB. Looks to be a NW swell at chest high with workable corners. I'll be on a Blue CustomX, with blue tip Techfins. ![]() |

i can't make this jared but thanks for the invite.
man, this brings back memories. i used to work at alternative surf in seal beach back in 96/97'. can't even count how many boogies i've gone through, back in the day with the old dow core boards, then arcel core, the poly pro, then dow with stringers, poly pro with stringers. my favorite all time board is a bz t-10, nice wide nose that tapered down to a not too narrow crescent tail. some nice wide channels on the bottom, allowing for some nice stability in the barrel and the wide nose allowed for some insane speed and stability down the line and into a nice slow fade away cutback to a reverse....man, i need to get back in the water! i have to post these again, they are the best pix i'll ever have of me riding waves! circa 97', southside seal ( i cloned the pier out) riding a custom x fred booth board ![]() circa 05' i believe, southside seal on a mike stuart p5 board ![]()

I have a custom-X that's been sitting around craving to hit the surf, it's just hard to find time and people to go out w/ I work in Newport and can go after work. if anyone want's to set up a day in the middle of the week I get off at 4:15 can be at the beach by 4:30.
