I'll be riding there with a couple buddies as well. I'll be on a black Chumba most likely.

I had a good time out there at a night ride two weeks ago. Looking forward to seeing what the singletrack looks like during the day time

I'll be out there from 9:00 until 2:00, so if you see me on the Blue Kona Cowan SS, give me a shout.

If you have not ridden this area yet, just look me up, or ask one of the trail guides (we'll all be wearing our Tan Irvine Open Space Jerseys), and they will also be happy to show you around.

You can also make a really nice ride by visiting the Nix Nature Center and get to ride the Stagecoach South Single-Track that goes from Camarillo the Nix. It's a very nice trail to ride.

I met with Chopper this morning and we're going to try to get the other two single tracks opened by the December Access day.

I'll be out there doing the Trail Guide thing. Look for dark silver Remedy and tan Irvine jersey.

I know this place well if anyone is worried about getting lost.

Adam is Rock Problem official? Also don't hesitate to ask for a strong back, I'll have my loppers tomorrow just in case....

Rock Problem is official (aka Rabbit Run), and Rock Bridge & Cowabunghole (aka Fox Run and Cattle Crest) will be coming online shortly.

The only catch for these three trails since they lead from the ridgeline down into the Shady Canyon (which is the most protected area in the Open Space Preserve South) is that they can be closed down at anytime if they become problem or nuisance trails for the area.

That's why we took immediate steps a couple of weeks ago to close the Rabbit Run Trail temporarily with signage when someone went out there and did some unauthorized work on the trail.

The habitat around them is heavily monitored, so as long as the trails don't start braiding off into different areas, they should be here long after we're all dead and gone

Excellent, we were pretty thorough with the brushing last time I was officially out there(not to mention moving all those rocks) but agree more precautions may be needed to keep riders on the fire road and away from sensitive species out on the links....

Got some great pics and vids to share, I'll work on getting them up later.

Thank you Sir for the warm invitation.

Just a head's up if you are looking at the Access Day on the website registration.

It shows registration closed but that's just an automatic feature of the registration.

The Wilderness Access Days are the only events that do not require pre-registration for the self-guided access.

I just did not want anyone to think they had missed out.

Just show up at the Quail Hill Trail Head, sign a waiver and get your day pass.....then enjoy a ride.

Thanks
