Default Pugzie's Sunday Morning Fully Ride

I was not planning on posting a ride report for today's ride- thought the turnout would be small! WRONG! Let's just say (including the people who got a late start) We had (27) riders today!!!!

----------
WILL FINISH MY RIDE REPORT LATER THIS EVENING! Want Jojo to post pics first. Mine are horrible due to sweeping related duties!
----------

No Pugzie ride would be complete without talking about my dear friend PUGZIE!!! The progression he has made (the past few weeks) has been nothing short of astounding. Cardio... gear selection, descending etc.- all improved! Today, "My Man" even cleaned the infamous CARDIAC HILL. Truly an unexpected surprise!

Pugzie is evolving into quite the freerider! Who knew? Before today, his tires may have left the ground ONCE (and that was due to a crash). Today alone, his tires left the ground on (10) seperate occasions. He threw in (2) spine jumps, a curb huck AAAAND he bunny-hopped (2) parking lot speed bumps- all in one day!

Thanks to everyone who attended. Pugz was talking about a Beginner ride next Sunday at Peter's Canyon! Regardless of location, there WILL be a ride next Sunday.

Group Getting Ready To Go...

What? No really... What are you staring at?

More to come.......

I cut a few corners and must have missed you all somewhere around Coyote Hills.
I ended up seeing MuddyEdgar/MuddyZoe and crew. guero/LBmtb/Ambaah and also an old riding friend Alex.
Nice day out.

Sorry I couldn't join you guys - it looked like a good group. Right after you left there was almost a Smackdown in the courthouse lot.

A guy pulls into the lot with a big diesel and finds an empty spot - except he has to back up a little to get in the spot. Right around the same time, another rider lays his Trance on the ground behind his truck. Sure enough big diesel vs. little bike was no contest. Lots of yelling and whining but no punches.

And yes Dino, the baby shower was a hit.

This is the part where everybody is getting excited for the downhill, looks like a Traffic jam and a rider is missing........ yes, he's just taking this picture

Pugz coming up strong, look, Dino is eating his dust.

well what do you know? More Iron Horses

The very first time i saw Dino's bike, i asked myself, "did Ferrari start making bikes?"

Here is a nice group shot taken at the, "lake with ducks all over the place", you cant see ducks but you'll see happy faces and that's SAR's "The King" by the way and the Man Himself, Pugz!!

A group shot at the "drop before the rail road track with muddy waters"

they say, There's always light at the end of the tunnel, not this time because there's always mountain bikers at the end of the tunnel.

Tower is the runway clear for take off? Rockinthecasbah, calculating his speed and angle of descent.

Houston, the eagle has landed!

Coming out really strong!!

SAR Boat, fully camouflage in this picture, i need glasses, where are you?

To all the folks that showed up today, Great riding with you!!! im glad i made this ride, i woke up at 7:30am and im like geez im late, but wait, DST ends, so its only 6:30am, .

i'm sorry i cant name you all in the pictures, maybe Dino can help.

And i dont know the names of specific track either, i just know its Fully Loop.

Before I started doing STR rides my wheels had rarely rolled over O.C. dirt, but since then I have found some awesome trails, and great folks riding on them. Today was a perfect example. Thanks all, it was a perfect morning, broken chain and all.

That was my Trance that got ran over. I kinda lost my cool, but the bike seems to be no more beat up than it was before.

Went on to have a blast. It was nice to meet everyone today. Thanks!

Wow good job Pugz you are really improving since the Carbon Canyon ride!!!! Keep it up and thanks to Dino for organizing these rides. I wanted to ride with you guys but I needed my fix of something a little more "challenging". I rode EM that morning and wow talk about traffic out their. I needed to get a bit of longer harder ride in for training to keep up the STR peeps this weekend in Bootleg. I will see you guys on Thursday for the Fully loop madness.

Oh BTW I love the pic of SAR Boats with his cig....classic.

Pugz,

Thank you! I had a great time once again. You are really kicking my arse thank you very much.

Sar Boats- Well now you know how to keep me on the bike and peddaling. Those jokes are just so...

So many awesome strong riders certainly an awesome group. Thank you all for waiting for me at the park. I really didn't expect that. If I'd known you were all waiting for me at the park - I wouldn't off been messing around.

JoJo - Not sure if that's how you spell it... Hope you had a great 1st time at Fully.

Dino - You are the best! You really do encourage the newbies and your good attitude makes everyone feel like they fit right in.

BTW - Julia was upset for not riding. BUT her soccer team made to the playoff's being undefeated. She can't wait to ride fully on thursday hopefully mtnbikerfred will ride with her.

Pugz - I'll be the sweeper on Sunday's ride. I can ride Peters with my eyes closed and I can fix a flat and a chain and figure things out. Mechanically inclined, if only I could mountain bike.

Thanks Sunday Riders!
