The park is very close to UC Riverside, about 5-6 miles N/E of downtown Riverside.....The park is roughly bounded by Central Ave (on the North), the 215/60 Fwy (on the East), Alessandro Bld (on the South) and Canyon Crest Boulevard (on the West)
From the OC, the most direct way is the 91 Fwy to the 215/60 towards Moreno Valley and get off on Central, then go Right and drive on Central for about 3/4 mile till you see the park on the left....FREE parking just behind the sign on the dirt lot...... Now here comes the hard part, the place is essentially a maze, it is criscrossed by single track and doubletrack everywhich way.......it would be hard to get around without a guide if you have never been here......Although you won't get "lost" because you are surrounded by homes and warehouses, you could end up down in the canyon and you'll have a nice hike-a-bike to get yourself out... Our usual loop is between 8-12 miles...this allows us to hit all the best trails and we don't have to backtrack on any of them. You could actually make it an epic by riding Sycamore early in the morning, then have lunch and ride Box Springs/Two Trees in the afternoon. |

You did a great job showing the local singeltrack. It took me a while to figure out where you shot some of your pictures from. Good work.
Now you just need to show some pics of the rockstacles out there that you can play on. Here are a couple fun ones. IMG_3238.jpg jenson web pic -rb.jpg There is a lot of stuff to explore around there and I have seen some pretty big jumps that downhill types have set up, but they are out of the question for me. If you're in the area and want to ride I suggest you just go explore and have fun. ![]() ~R |

Like he said though....it's very easy to get lost. I'd rode out there a dozen times with Team Dirty Works and figured I could find my way around. I went out one morning with a friend of mine that had woke up late. We were supposed to meet Doc and a couple other guys, but because of my friends oversleeping we were late and I figured we might catch them. Wrong! Being directionally challenged as I am we took the wrong route. We spent the next 6 hours in this little park going around in circles. I got home that day and took a shower and went straight to bed. Gawd, was I tired!

I too have always wanted to ride there and never have, which is silly because it's only about 45 minutes from the Temecula area and I routinely drive further than that to ride other places in SD.
Organize a Sunday ride and I'm there. ![]()
