Default Coal Canyon Parking

Has anyone done this ride.

http://www.geoladders.com/show_route...1&route_id=343

It starts at Coal Canyon. Just wondering if there was parking near the golf course.

Hey Jay that looks interesting I want to try it. It is right by my house but I don't remember doing that ride but I'm sure Steve C would remember the rout.

Jason,
The only thing that sucks about this ride is that I think it is all fire road. I guess I would be doing it for the view.

Maybe Willie will like it for the training miles.

Yes you just park bythe golf course with all of the roadies.
Did it once from the Blackstar side, don't think I would do it again. 35 miles of fireroad, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

It should still be illegal, last time I went there was a big ass fence to contend with but happily no razor wire. Just don't go after a rain or the red clay will suck you in.

ive rode up coal 3x this month.
I ride from my house on green river.....
but tons of people park at the dirt lot right before the golf course.

all fireroad... fun at night, and you can connect to Bstar/skyline/sierra peak etc when up there.
