If I try the Mt. Wilson Trial up Little Santa Anita Canyon my 20x34 granny gear and I will be close friends...no middle ring for that one!

I hadn't been to this locale in a long time but was very glad the ride still took place. The rain did made for some slick spots but wow what a great trail. Those who cancelled out really missed out! Great to meet Tedroy the downhill machine and ride again with COLEKO, KBL and DINO. Thanks for organizing the ride DINO.

I've been gone riding the last 11 of 14 days, I'm already booked for a going away ride for one of my roadie buds, but I do so love Chantry and Mt Wilson trail is my favorite in the San Gab's.

This is not an easy ride, but if you have descent skills and aren't afraid of some long sustained climbs, this is about the best ride you can do in SoCal if you ask me. (providing you come down Mt Wilson trail).

wish i coulda made it. Zion loop is BY FAR my fav front range ride.. it's near perfect (hike a bike builds character

the trail from Upper Winter Creek to Mt Wilson has less hike a bike than Zion.. tho longer... descending the Mt Wilson trail has some very sweet terrain... hardest spots are generally at the beginning (above Orchard Camp), tho the lower technical spots (or for me, dismounts) have lethal exposure. light years beyond strawberry, devore, et al

i live in sierra madre, and when bored at night, i ride (or do laps) on the first mile or so of trail...

also head's up- -on weekends, this is a big time hiker's trail (sort of like lower Merrill)

I may join you guys on the Chantry epic. Been down the Mt. Wilson trail twice on epics starting from Eaton Cyn up the fire road to Mt Wilson and then down Mt Wilson trail. What sucked was that by the time we hit the down hill st I was beat on both rides and already cramping. Its been a while since so we'll see how far I can get on this one.
Oh wait, I still need to ask permission from the wifey as I just got back from our Utah road trip, which she was nice enough to let me go...hope I'm not pushing it here...
