Default Canfield Mtn.

Anyone have the opportunty to ride up on Canfield Mountain in Coure d'laine, ID? The family and I are headed up there to visit relatives in Post Falls and wanted to get in some good riding while there.

They host a XC and DH race there every year and wanted to know if anyone had the 411...

Thanks
Greg

If you don't get much, just head over to emptybeer and ask on the WA forum or something. Coeur d'laine is only about 30 minutes away from Spokane.

I think they're supposed to have a few cool trails up there.

My uncle lives on the Idaho panhandle (Bead Lake)...allot of stuff up there they just don't talk about it on line.

I have found my best info from local bike shops...get to any trailhead and get to know the locals. The stuff off the radar screen is always the best.

I did a NORBA race up at Mt. Spokane ski area quite a few years ago, they had some great xc trails, but it's probably an hour drive from Coeur d'laine.

Also on empty beer, in the Yeti forum, there is a member, I think his name is Flipinidaho, that might be able to point you in the right direction.
