Thanks, she's always like your crazy to go mt biking, it looks like hard work, and kinda dangerous. But she likes that I'm healthier now though and she got a good laugh out of it...btw, Han Solo Rules.

LOL. That's pretty funny.

However, there's only 2 of us and I am rarely on MTBR and I'm not on GeoLadders, so it's all good.

I earned that nickname--given to me by my bro's and I refuse to give it up.

Well, I hated climbing. I mean, I REALLY hated climbing. I was fat and climbing was hard. So, I whined at the beginning of every climb and proceeded to whine all the way to the top. I whined whenever there was a hint of ascent coming up.

One day, one of my bro's said "If you don't stop whining I'm going to give you a pacifier to shut you up."

Pacifier-Boy and Pacifier-Man turned into Pac Man. The Pac being short for pacifier. I hated this nickname and the more I hated it, the more they used it. So, I decided to embrace it. One day at the store, I bought a package of pacifiers and clipped one to my CamelBak (where it sits to this day).

Funny thing is, now that I've dropped 50+ pounds, I'm the fastest climber from that original circle of riding friends.

Ya, that fits too. I get passed an awful lot, especially on climbs.

Oh man, that drop worked me good. Wife was out of town that weekend, luckily I had a Godfather to look after me:

Let's see: spines up and down my right side (even in the cartilage inside my ear); stick broke off in my cheek and came out in the shower a week later; jersey so riddled w/ invisible spines I had to trash it.

Yup, .8down, could say I definitely feel your pain. Feel better soon, bubb!

looks like you feel my pain and like 10 others...I dont have it that bad...I do hate that I can't trust my gloves now that they are "contaminated" , but I have like 10 more pairs so no biggie...

Oh and "PASS man" congrates on such a change in weight. 50 pounds is like losing two XC bikes....
