Good to hit Oaks again with the usual suspects!
Lety, thanks for listening to all the, ahem, "guy" talk that happens...I think Willie can agree that some of the guys forget their are females along

!

Nam, Gabe, Jared, Gary, Lety, Jessie and myself hit Oaks on the usual loop this morning, the weather was perfect.

My ribs are still killing me so I thought it would be best to run my Lynskey at 32:16, just for fun

, it sucked!

The 1st B is in excellent condition as is the 2nd, no more sand crawl uphill.
Jared did an excellent job almost clearing the 2nd B in the middle ring, he say's he thought he was in the granny?? Nice!!
Kind of strange having to stop on the 3rd B to go around the gate but it adds a new "limbo" effect to the ride which we thought Lety might go for

Once on top the jumps and ledge were hit and Gabe decided to show us how to go up the ledge injust 4 easy steps...I hate him

Nice job on the Ledge Gabe.

Wish I could have been there but needed to go watch grandsons soccer game. He kicked butt and scored his first goal so I was glad I didn't miss it.

I didn't crash today! off the drop... crashed everything else though and took a handlebar to the ribs.

It was great riding with everyone today! My first time clearing all 3 b's even though it was in the granny gear. Doing the drop on top was a flash back to my crash so it was nice to finally conquer it.

to the oaks for about two years or so. WOW that place got torched!

With our lack of rain who knows when that place will look normal again

It took San Juan 10 years before it started looking lush after the last fire.

Good thing I'm not really a lady! I'm sure there's nothing you guys could say that would shock Lety though -- she's dating Gabe!

Looks like you guys had a great time! There were a lot of good STR rides goin on today! Kudos to Jared for cleaning the 2nd B... that's awesome! I would've had no one to walk up with if I went!

I grew up following around my boy cousins so there wasn't much I haven't heard...until I started riding with you guys!

I can handle it and is often amusing if not gross and even that can be funny to me. Riding with the boys pushes me to get stronger so it all works towards the good.
