Hmmm, I think you guys are a little off topic...(Geouge clean-up isle 4)
I just wanted to thank Chris, Greg and Gene for leading, sweeping and everything in between on this ride. Way to represent STR. There were a lot of first timers and it was a great way for them to get exposed to a great community of people. Major PROPS to all the ladies! Traci, Meagan, Maggie, Natalie, Lety, Elvia (LV), Julia, and even though she didn't ride, Rachel! Your girls really know how to ride DIRTY! Traci extra knuckle up to you girl! You hung in there and you'll always remember that then next time you're questioning you ability to go on! That my friend is what makes the difference between those that finish and those that don't even bother to show up. You know that every ride you're writing a testimonial to help some other rider getter done. Same goes for Elvia, way to hang in there and set an example for you daughter! ![]() Way to go to everyone who struggled in the heat, I'll tell you the last 3-4 miles were not fun, but it made the making it back to the park that much better. Just wanted to thank Jeff (Hoosierdaddy) for bringing beers, again, and not any cheap stuff either. I think it's been the past few rides and it's really appreciated. Maybe we can designate someone else next time or we can all pitch in to help with the beverages. Anyway it was a great ride, and I really enjoy the big group....What's up for next weekend? ![]() ~ cc

O.k. I'm a total idiot. I cannot figure out how to work a computer at all!!! I wanna' put captions on the pics I have but I can't figure out how to do it. Oh well, here are the pics I have and they are pretty much the same as the others. I have 18 pics and I'm probably not gonna' get them on all at once, again I'm an idiot. The only pic I have that isn't the same is the one of my sheared bolts for my granny gear front sprocket, never seen that one before!

It's twist tie like the ones for garbage bags.....I was cooling off with a few other riders at the top of the hill when Tighe ridr rode up and showed us the broken chain-ring.
He was gonna leave it alone and continue riding...but i thought the granny might get jammed between the crank arm and bottom bracket or might just make an annoying jingling noise the rest of the ride. Some offered zip ties, someone suggested removing the large/medium rings to get it out, but i had the wire in my pack and it seems to have done the job.......... --Oz from Riverside |

Attach files with "Manage Attachments" under Additional Options, then click the paperclip icon above, then click the file(s) you want to insert in the post, and add text... the photo will look something like "1234" in the post - double check in preview
