We took another new rider out today and we were joined by Neil (1x1clyde) and Jose (ShinKen).

Im surprised my buddy Randy still wanted to ride after all he went through. First he borrowed my friend's bike; which was a SMALL and belonged to his wife! We took him up Cholla, down Rock It, through coyote, up Mathias (yes Mathias), to top of the world and then down Meadows.

He survived it all despite being bucked off the saddle going through coyote. You know that little gully that comes out when you least expect it; especially when it's your first time. He was ok other than a little dirst raspberry which got irritate again when he fell going down Meadows. Anyway, Randy definitely gets the trooper of the day award to keep on going.

But I did want to thank Neil and Jose for riding with us...actually for waiting for us

It really is true Neil IS FAST and he climbs like a billy goat.

Anyway, you can see a short clip of the antics we had. Randy coming out of Rock It...the cackel you hear in the background is our friend Bonafacius so Delicious or just "Bon" for short

Ah ha! So you guys were the group I ran into on Coyote earlier this morning up on that last little hill. I had only met Jose before. I'll introduce myself next time

Goodtimes today!
Duan, Alan, Randy, Gary, Jose and I unleashed hell at Aliso today...not really but it was fun and was about as hot as hell today!!
Duan, nice job up Mathis today! That one is brutal and also to Jose for rolling those big wheels up that BeEatCh

Talk about a small world, Gabe and Lety were coming in as we were getting ready to finally leave 3 1/2 hours later! Hope you 2 survived that late morning heat!

I missed out yet again. I am getting better. I can feel it. I think in one more week I will try the loop and see what happens. I thought I was going to do it last thurs but I was in to much pain.

Shoulders take their own sweet time. It'll come.
My last one took a year to stop hurting when I lifted the bike.

Man it was hot out there today. When I was leaving aliso around 11 it was 102 degrees. That poor newbie earned the trooper award fo sho. I saw Gabe and Lety as well, but didn't know it till I read this post. Gabe was torturing Lety by riding around looking for a shortcut that doesn't exist.

We saw a lot of people out, where did we run into you?

It was sooo hot, I don't do well in heat. He finally showed me some mercy and didn't make me do a second loop!
