RR: Incycle invades Mammoth!

I am not going to do this justice, so I hope others will add their comments from the weekend. Some of the highlights from the weekend for me were:
1- Just riding with friends, old and new.
2- Watching people push themselves, and conquering what they wanted to. (Kazlx hitting the waterfall on Chainsmoke, Foesnasty doing the first drop on Techno Rock)
3- Seeing at least 10 Incycle jerseys in line for the Gondola
4- This was definitely my number one highlight, seeing Tony G. out riding again, hitting the big drop on Techno Rock as smooth as it could be hit.

2- In line, I was trying to get a photo of the group, not a close up of Mosh!
3- Adrian (Foesnasty), taking a look at the 1st rock drop on Techno Rock.
4- Adrian goes for it! Let's get the nose up a little next time! Just teasin', nice job!
5- BFlo(Brandon) hittin' the drop, he's been riding less than a year!

you should see where i landed that time! i blew the adjustment know off of my fork!!!

my highlights were..... hmmmm

1. actually getting out and riding other places than webb and southridge
2. riding waith all the guys and feeling faster/more comfortable after the dh "lessons" i got from them
3. seeing chirs (mosh1dh) for the first time in many months after his injury
4. not passing out in the gondola going to the very top over that HUGE gorge
5. hitting all the trails i wanted to
6. jason driving me there and back


not so good moments

1. falling for the first time ever on a dh bike... (endo on chain smoke rock garden)
2. watching joe [jasons bro] wash out on his left shoulder on the huge rock waterfall further down chain smoke
3. falling for the second time ever [first time jumping( cased the step up started to endo and when i tried to save it landed sideways and ene\ded up about 20 feet down the landing!)]
4. watching joe endo on techno rock on one of the last rides and on the same shoulder (left one) and watching him be in pain the whole drive home

and i think thats all the bad moments


i have more good ones just to stoked i actually went to remember them!!!!!

well when i found out there was team day (weekend) in mammoth after id been back from there two days later,i hadda go. i took my two boys tyler and derek,(aged 17& 15) derek hadnt been riding since mammoth a year ago. the old boy kills it every time i ride with him,but younger boy bloo me away with his skilz. i gotta say thanks to bighead(JASON) and INCYCLE for this trip.i met some peeps up there that were tripin out how big our team really is.its great when you get to ride with a kool group of riders with different skillz like we have on this team!
my hi'est lite of the weekend was thursday.mammoth has free racing thursdays. my boys and i were there in time to doo it.kamakazie was the race course,out of 47 racers i finished 15 derek 28 tyler 32. i'd have liked more time with everone but had to get home. thanks jason.

That's so cool...the Merrill boys all ridin dirty!!! It sounds like everyone had a blast and no one was hurt. That's a good time in my books!

Sweet weekend guys, our team really rocks,....my highlights were
1. hitting the drop on techno rock
2. Having the INCYCLE DH TEAM all riding together, (Curtis we missed u)
3. Watching Jason, Lor and Blair go big on Techno Rock
4. My wife passing some guy going down "Downtown"
5. Just hanging out with friends

I can't wait til next time

Jason, u should have seen the last time I hit it, it was much better...
I love riding with u all cause it forces me to test my limits and I like that. I also know when I'm in over my head....

we dont know that there were no injuries.... joe (jasons brother) endo'd on the last ride and was in big pain in his shoulder and back area on the drive home

Talked to Joe a little while ago, he just got back from the Dr. Good news, just bruised and strained on the shoulder, should be fine in a week or two. Next year an Incycle Whistler trip???? Oh well, I can always try, right?

Awesome weekend guys! It doesn't get any better than spending a weekend out riding with good friends.

Hi'lites: Seeing everyone healthy and out riding. Seeing the 2 bear cubs and mama bear right outside the parking garage to the Mammoth Inn.

Low'lites: Missing out on some morning runs on Sat.

Next on the list: Whistler '08

What a great weekend. THANKS Jason for setting us up. Highlights riding with crew, super long dh runs, see some guy's pulling some crazy line's. my low was not be able to ride Sunday. but I'll be up there in a few weeks. Thanks again Jason.

It was a blast riding with y'all. Pushing the limits but staying within them as to not get hurt too bad, right Joe? Good to see Mosh up and riding again. I know what it's like to hurt and not ride.
