Camped up at Heart Bar and picked off the upper reaches of SART on Saturday.
Up by the equestrian camp SART is deep and sandy for miles, which it has always been loose but now it is horrible. The upper sections of E305 that mix with SART are much better and a great solution to riding in the sandy rut of SART, but anything down in the valley behind Heart Bar campground and above are trashed. The lower sections by Angeles Oaks are good, for the most part; tight, swoopy and powder on hard pack. Very ridable and very enjoyable.
