So far I'm a big fan of Hammer Nutrition also. They always send out informational stuff every month or so and NEVER hesitate to send you samples with your order!!

I try to pick up their products through LBS also, but have ordered directly a few times. Great customer service, and great product. Wish it was cheaper, but that's life Maybe some day I'll be fast enough to be sponsored and then won't have to worry!!

Great meeting you and thanks for leading us on an additional adventure!

BTW, Justin was using a Hammer Nutrition bottle yesterday. We found it a week after the Idyllwild Spring Challenge in 06 right off the course. We were riding it a week later. I cleaned out and it's been a great bottle ever since. I want one of the pink bottles

Thumbs up

I always enjoy the pics and RR that you two write up for us mere mortals. Allison.....I think you've earned your Guinness jersey...so I'll keep my eyes open next time they're offered, but you can get the socks at http://guinnesscycling.com/. This was only the 2nd time I've ridden with you two and the first time you saved my ass with a brake pad change (still thnx). Congrats on a great ride and I'm sure the VQ won't be too bad.......I can't imagine you two NOT making the cutoff times!

Still cracks me up!

Finally got to ride with the famous duo, albeit a very short ride on the extra credit ride, it was still fun. You guys missed a killer drop/downhill that John took us on. That was the highlight of the ride for me.

I'm kind of bummed that I didn't try to do the ride with you guys from the IE side. I've been spending way to many days on the roadie and might have been dragging a little, so I guess it's best...plus today we did do our century ride.

Hope to ride soon with the Super-Manns again!

As always a killer Ride Report for a killer ride. Awesome job, I hate to think what your training rides will be like 4 months from now when you ramp it up!!
I was just ready to drop after the wall in the Traverse this year, I popped some of the Hammer Salt things & I was riding up a storm 20 minutes later. I had got to the point where liquid wasn't staying in me for more 10 minutes AHHH. I always carry them now & take them before I need them! At least the weather really cooperated for you & stayed fairly cool.
See you guys at Noble
Ian

Thanks all for the comments!!

It was actually a really great ride, for all of the mileage. Also great to meet up with the newbie ride, as we both enjoyed the easy miles and hanging with everyone.

After all that this past weekend I won't feel bad enjoying the shuttles and easy miles this coming weekend
