Anyways, I just wanted to say that i had a great time today. That was the best ride of my whole mountain biking career (all 4 weeks of it). If anyone is putting together another ride there in the near future please let me know. Thanks again to everyone who helped put the ride together!

Gene, thank you thank you thank you for putting this ride on. I had a great time! I love when we all cross the street and people are all confused when they see like 50+ riders swarming all around... it's classic. It was nice ridin' with the girls too -- Traci, Marcy, Sharon, Alyssa, Lety, Maria, I know there's more...

And thank you George for letting me borrow your gloves. I'll wash 'em for ya since I got them dirty

Oh yeah I didn't want to intimidate anyone with my mad hucking skillz, so I kept it mellow

Anytime you guys need a laugh or two, just ask. I will happliy contribute. I am so glad we could blend a few riding groups together and all work together as one team. Thats what its all about! Great job done by all the new riders; I know it can be intimidating when you first start out! KPMTB

Nevermind the fact I was walking because someone cut me off..... nevermind the fact The Big Bear crash pic was an optical illusion, nevermind a 15 year old kid "passed me" on today's ride ( the actual story was quite different ) nevermind this nevermind that..... nevermind the fact flattering pictures of me remain on your desktops (rather than being uploaded onto STR)---- forget all that stuff!

Huge props to Gene. Sometimes you never really know the someones efforts until they are put to task. After playing around on the jumps and generally just cruising, I found myself with a flat at the first water crossing. After a number of people went by, it turns out that I was in DFL...Nonetheless, Gene waited while I changed my tube (and he offered his Co2, but I just used my pump). Even though I probably don't fall into the beginner catagory, I didn't know my way back, and so it was really cool that he still waited. He also made sure that no one was left behind.

Thank you guys for the pics and vids. I think Nam is the only person who has taken photos of me jumping. And I think that's the first time I'm in a youtube video - WOOHOO!!!! Thanks again! Nam (and others, if there are any), could you e-mail me the photos? My address is 2wheel-lee at sbcglobal.net

I had a lot of fun on the ride. I met a lot of really cool people. Also, my gf, Ko, also had a fun time with everyone.

Oh, and I don't know her name, but I thank the Trail Angel who gave me some water. I thought I ran out of water, but at the end, I realized that all the ice cubes in my Camelbak had frozen together creating a giant ice cube.

Thanks Lee for the kind words. I was pleasantly surprised to see you there. I glad you and Ko had a good time. Hope to see you guys out on the next one. If you're talking about the Trail Angel who rode with us towards the end, her name is Kristine Early, wife of Warriors Society member John. See you at the Fully Loop. Gene
