RR: High Meadows-Star Lake, Tahoe
[SIZE=3][FONT=Calibri]Two weeks of my pestering finial paid of today. Day 14 of 14 riding for me and I have logged allot of trails. Nobody has wanted to climb up to Star Lake with me and finally the crew indulged me. It was allot of push a bike for me and on numerous sections even the strong riders could only ride 50 foot at a time before they where out of breath. Route was up High Meadows Fireroad to Star Lake, I think the highest Lake in the Tahoe area. Coming back down from the Lake it was hard to believe that we went up that. I was bugg’n to go up there because I was told of a unlisted singletract that is off the radar and comes down Cold Creek, called High Meadows and/or Cold Creek Trail. [/FONT][/SIZE]
[FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]Conscience is that today’s ride was the best of the week and the best of two weeks for me. Remember I have rode Flume, Hole in the Ground, Toads, X-Mas Valley, many other local rides…so to say that this was the best trail is saying a bunch. It follows a stream down through big trees and Aspens, it was the only area on this trip plush enough to have wood ferns along the trail.[/SIZE][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][/FONT] [FONT=Calibri][SIZE=3]Dean[/SIZE][/FONT]

Wow, big brother. I find it very difficult for any trail to be as fun as "Hole in the Ground". Still I have to believe you. See you soon.
