Jeff, good to meet you as well and thanks for letting me ride your 29er. Now it'll be your fault if I feel the need to buy one.

Looks like Gene is already trying to justify the 29er

Had a great time as always out there. Roscoes seems to be a hit afterwards too. Well except for the bikes with engines on them?!!!

Anyway, have a great weekend everyone.

Ya, I was already contemplating which parts on my SS I could use if I were to purchase just a frame and fork, oh and wheels of course. Or sell my SS and just buy a whole new/used 29er. Darn it! I shouldn't have ridden it.

NOTE TO SELF: I WILL NOT RIDE A FREERIDE OR ALL MOUNTAIN BIKE OR ANYTHING ELSE THAT HAS MORE THAN THE 3 1/2" REAR TRAVEL I HAVE ON MY TOMAC!

Dang, when we swapped bikes on the climb, I was hoping to ride the 29er till the downhills. Not even 2 mins went by and Jeff goes, "Ok, I'm done, gimme back my bike". Dang!

BTW Jeff, my Nomad has 2.5 front and 2.35 rear super tacky's. That's why you were hurting climbing up the wash. I'm gonna try to build up the VooDoo Hoodoo as a singlespeed one of these days.

Just a thought, but it seems a 6pm start or even earlier makes more sense now. We got back way before dark and didn't hammer. I understand the pre loop would then also start earlier. We started at 4pm and had plenty of time to relax and have some ice-cream(push-ups). Thanks for that J

Andy, next week I'll bring both bikes and you can ride the single the whole time if you like. Just need a set of pedals for you since I use time. Let me know and we'll set it up.

Jeff- Used to ride Fully with us "pre- STR" days. He is a very capable rider (XC and DH).... he is a cool dude AND he is the only guy who could "possibly" challenge Hoosierdaddy for the title of STR Wheelie King (my money is still on Hoosieraddy).

On a side note: As of last night, three NEW Iron Horses have invaded STR! Fourth one is on the way! Ahhhhh- yeah!!!
