Today, Shrek and I went to explore more of the non standard, but legal Turnbull routes. We started by climbing up Rattlesnake. To our surprise and disgust
we found countless tree branches had been laid right in the middle of the trail. Many were placed right were one would land if they took the jump, others just to block the trail. These were not random.......some looked as if they were cut with a saw. We picked up most of them on Rattlesnake to keep the trail safe for bikers as well as hikers, but were disappointed somebody would risk hurting others by doing this. While climbing out from the bottom of Rattlesnake towards the road towards the Whittier side, we picked up even more branches. This is the first time I had seen such deliberate actions. Is someone trying to say something since the jumps are back? The whole passive-aggressive thing is cowardly.Anybody else seen/had issues recently? ![]() btw.......found another empty Chocolate Gu pack laying on the ground. See Dirty Trails for my rant on that. Dirty Trails?

Hmm, that's weird. I was just there on Saturday morning (also saw Tee there) and although there was evidence of jump/ladder building none of it was in the way of riding the trail. I wonder if what you're describing is something a lot newer.

This was not jump building.......too far spread out and strategically placed. Pretty freshly placed...it seemed.......gee....what do people do on Sundays

I was there Sunday morning and didnt see any of that. I know people arent too happy with the jumps as ive read on another site. I dont ever really see anyone on that trail other than mtbkrs, so I wonder. I'm sure glad that people had taken the time to rebuild the trail though. When is there gonna be an STR ride out @ Turnbull again?
