RR: Tahoe, Armstrong Pass

Lost part of my crew today, tonight they get replaced with 3 new ones.

There is a fire in either Lasen or Sanisluas that has Tahoes air quality poor, so the pictures are not what they should be. I could smell the smoke when I first went outside this AM.

Anyway it was good to do a solo ride today, I climbed up Orniedas Road to Armstrong Pass: on Armstrong Pass Trail, Homestead Trial, Oriendas Trail, Pleasant Meadow Trail, or whatever map you are looking at trail, to the Tahoe Rim Trail at Armstrong Pass. I was prepared for a major hike-a-bike up some kind of nasty granite scree filed death march. Note to self: downhillers are lazy so don't ask them about climbing. So this climb is a mild grade with loamy, sweetness all the way to Armstrong Pass. Again Tahoe is the land of endless singletrack.

I wish more of you guys would have taken me up on the offer and came up to ride. Not to late still one week left.
