Thanks to everyone who helped me with my TWO flats last night! I got one on each lap. I almost didn't take the second tube from Craig but something told me I should.
Curse of SJ is definately still out there. Thanks Dino for the drink. Thanks for another fun and never dull ride!! ![]()

Ya, it was. I'm sure other's will chime in later. Enjoy your remaining time in Tahoe. Have a safe return and we'll see you when you get back.

I had to cut both Loops short due to flats . No worries, I was pretty spent doing a night ride the night before and morning ride same day anyhow. The girl taken picks was I think SlimJims sister. Can't wait to see those. |

Fun times all!
Boy I had a lot of booze! I have to get a few things off my chest here... 1) I am NOT the 24hr World Champ. (Please don't ask-as I said "I had a lot of booze.") 2) Heather is not really my daughter. Again... lots of booze. Boy I had a lot of booze! ![]() Great night ladies and gentlemen (being used loosely.) Roscoes was way to fun. I'm afraid of the photos though. We need to find a smiley with an STR construction hat!

well, the curse continues to haunt us, and this time it was me and some other bubb who got it placed upon us.
at the bottom of the steep/fast downhill, where the cement slab is (and the other trail merges) i was following this guy down and at the ( a relatively noobie, in his own words) cement culvert, the famous "g-out" spot he lost control and started fishtailing, at this point i was about 10 yards or so behind him, keep in mind we are flying...so, he continues to fishtail and banks the fence and then the tree (where scarboats got treated)im watching all of this unfold at around 25mph at least and start to wonder if he is going to continue rolling down the embankment into my line....sure enough right as i pull up to kinda launch off that little lip/ledge of the cement thing i start to worry, he is still tumblng and his bike is cart wheeling..."shit" i think in my head, i had less than a second to react as his bike flopped over right in front of me as i came down off of the cement thing...my options were to just plow his bike straight on, or try to bunny hop it....so, i try to bunny hop it and i pull up on the front and i guess my foot or something got caught on his frame because i ate shit hard! before i knew it i was doing a pete rose style (head first slide) in some relatively soft dirt. my bike flipped over and some part nailed me in the ass, because i just noticed a gnarly dark purplish bruise. i got a mean monkey bump and chunk taken out of my right shin. a nice 3x4 inch strawberry on my right forearm/elbow area, a bump/bruise scrape above my left knee. i laid there for a second and couldnt believe what had happened. im not sure who it was, but they told me not to move, i guess my right leg looked like it was broken from their vantage point, my right ankle was contorted in a very un-natural position. someone or a few peeps slowly removed the tangled bikes and i made my way to my feet. i felt okay, but a little nausea set in as i walked it off and went and sat on the sidewalk for a few. the entire group stopped and expressed concern for my well being. i tried to wave everyone on so they wouldnt have to wait around for me, but most insisted on waiting. many bubbs offered me wet wipes for my wounds, teeny offered me some foamy spray and andy/rut did some quick little test on me to make sure that i was okay, thanks dude!the rest of the ride was pretty uneventful, my ankle and shin began throbbing and i didnt do the drop i wanted to do up above mormon hill. a few highlights included macgyver and his daughter snapping photos of everyone along many different places along the loop, cant wait to see those! roscoes was a blast, we must of had nearly 20 bubbs and bubbettes there! thank you to brewmaster and marcy for passing out the post ride frosty bevvies, and thanks to lety for the motrin to take some of the edge off of my carnage. thanks again everyone for your help after my crash. and to the bubb whom was also involved, i hope he was ok. he seemed a bit dazed and doesnt exactly recall what he ran into. quite a few pix were taken, so im sure they will be posted in time.

Thanks again for another great time out there on both laps party people. Looks like I missed some fun after hours sorry I had to scoot early I had work stuff this morning early to attend to. Looks like I found out on the first lap how stans works blowing liquid all over me coming downhill. Sealed itself up pretty good though and is still holding air so I guess the technology works. Cant wait to see the pics from the night!

B ~ I'm just glad you're ok and didn't require an ER visit. I'm sure St. Jude missed the STR crew last night.
