Default RR: Mammoth Mountain

I've got a pretty comprehensive video I'm uploading (thanks for the tip Ian!!), but in the meantime, here's the photos from our Mammoth trip. Andy, Ann, Dino, Cathy, Justin, DenMother, Roger, Albert, and I.

Had a blast. The Demo 7 worked really well, but I am looking forward to getting softer springs (used about 1/2 to 3/4 of the travel). The brakes eventually started working, but descending Velocity right out of the gate on Saturday morning was a bit sketchy!

Tahore is loaded up and ready to go

Cool sites along the way

Thanks to Dino/Cathy for hooking me up with the STR stickers!!

Got Pumice?

Rockin' a ladder on Velocity

Cathy hits it like an old pro (keep your minds out of the gutter!! I'm talking about the ladder!)

Log jump

HuckSpokes

With 7 inches you can ride the stairs...

Staging at the top

Mmm... that's what I like to see!

continued...

Coming off Skidmarks

Shock Treatment

Pondering Flow drop

Token handlebar shot for y'all

Albert's only been riding DH for 8 mo's, but is way better than the vast majority of us. Lucky bastid!

continued...

Bullit container launch

The Flow drop...Albert wanted to hit it again, so took the most direct route to the top. You can also see how big the drop is just from the take off to directly below... you land about 6 feet down from where he's standing.

Roger finally hits it (he was waiting for the right song to come on, eh)

Parting shot...

BTW, KHS Bicycles SAVE LIVES!!

Had a great time up there. Thanks to Nancy and Rodger for letting us hang with their group for a few run, Allison for letting Ann take the Enduro on Sunday for a quick trip down to LRC, and everyone else for going! Kids, don't copy my writing style, there are a lot of run on sentances that would make my english teacher cry!

We got back later than planned, but it was well worth it.

I heard she didn't thoroughly enjoy it! Sorry! You guys shoulda messed with the shock pressures. No biggie.

Had I known you guys were gonna come back to town I would've just said for her to rent again! She seemed to love the RM she had on Saturday.

I still think she should wait for that 08 Slopestyle.

EDIT: nm! She's got a worthy steed.

Bitchin!

If you are referring to the Socom?? Then yup!

I actually forgot to bring the sequence jpgs, so won't be doing any animated gifs today.
